Hello! My Name is Albert.
I'm a Full-Stack Engineer bent on creating practical and beautiful apps. I have a big appetite for gettings lots of data and displaying it to the world.
I graduated from General Assembly's (GA) WDI program, a 12-week web development bootcamp where we were immersed in web technologies (ruby, ruby on rails, javascript, etc.) to create fully functional web applications.
Prior to GA, I was an Electrical Engineer with the US Army, working on wearable and vehicular acoustic sensors. After watching The Social Network, I became hooked to creating web applications through code.

The language of my server. Beautiful and semantic.
Ruby on Rails
My go-to backend framework for getting that data to the front-end.
Javascript
I use JS to make that front-end do magical things.
Front-End Frameworks
These are just a few of the frameworks I've used to create my User Interfaces.
jQuery
Manipulate that DOM.
HTML5
The structure for making those sweet, sweet apps.
CSS3
Make those apps look good.
Databases
Store that data. From SQL to NoSQL, whichever fits the purpose of the app.
Git
I like to share my code with the world.
Agile Development
I keep track of my progress and stay on course. Currently I use Trello for developing against User Stories.
Node.js
Javascript magic on the server.
Meteor
That fullstack Javascript framework, super fast for prototyping web apps.
Cloud
I deploy my apps to the cloud because it's faster.
Python
Powerful language, especially for doing all those fancy scientific calculations.
Express
Awesome, uber lightweight backend framework in Javascript.
Bootstrap
Making those apps prettier to look at. Cool buttons and design templates galore.
